The city of Solana Beach was incorporated in 1986. It is well known for the Cedros Design District. Much of Solana Beach sits on a slope up from the brach and gives many panoramic ocean views.

Dennis and Sunshine have lived in Encinitas for over 10 years and are very involved in the community. They were awarded Encinitas Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors of the Year in 2004 and 2000. Dennis is past president of the Encinitas Lions Club. Sunshine is a member of the San Elijo College Choir and WBC (a women's networking group.) They have been the top producers in the Carlsbad office of RE/MAX BY-THE-SEA for 4 of the last 5 years.
